How To Prevent Hair Loss Due to Stress

Hair loss has multiple causes, including diet, mineral deficiency, medications, stress, pollution, and etc. Nowadays up to one third of the population suffers from hair loss(I myself also have the trouble). If you make sure that your hair falling is caused by stress, maybe the methods below will be useful to you.

First of all, take good care of your hair. No matter what reasons cause your hair falling, you should take good care of your hair so as to keep your hair healthy.

1.    Be careful how you style your hair, and don’t try the hairstyles that require tight pulling, for example, tight ponytails, braiding tightly, etc.
2.    Don’t dye or heat your hair frequently. If you really like doing hairstyles, try some wigs or hair weaves instead of damaging your own hair.
3.    Wash hair carefully and regularly with mild shampoo, and adopt right washing methods. For example, don’t brush wet hair, don’t rub hair energetically with a towel after washing it, and use a soft brush to brush it gently when your hair is dried.

Secondly, a healthy diet filled with vegetables and fruits that contain adequate nutrients such as iron, protein, Vitamin C, biotin and zinc can help stopping or minimizing hair loss. The following are good sources for the nutrients.

1.    Iron: liver, beef, pork, fish, leafy greens, fortified cereal, beans, and pumpkin seeds.
2.    Protein: seafood, white-meat poultry, milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, beans, pork tenderloin, soy, tofu, peanut butter, brown rice, lentils, quinoa, nuts, broccoli, potatoes, etc.
3.    Vitamin C: Lots of fruits and green leafy vegetables contain adequate Vitamin C.
4.    Biotin: bulgur wheat, lentils, sunflower seeds, soybeans, and walnuts.
5.    Zinc: oysters, lean beef, peanut butter, turkey, and pumpkin seeds.

Besides, you should avoid food that can hurry hair loss. For example, low-calorie liquid diets.

Thirdly, learn to get your stress under control. We are all under too much stress nowadays, and this not only damage our hair, but also damage our body. It’s time to reduce stress if hair loss begins.

1.Make sure that you get enough sleep.
2.Keep a happy mood no matter what happens to you.
3.Try to exercise regularly.

Finally, don’t add stress due to the fact of hair loss. Most of us are facing this trouble, don’t let this upset you. A bad mood can only make hair loss worse.
