The different of Synthetic Hair and Human Hair

Hair extensions and wigs aren't just for celebrities, also affordable for the general public. Extensions and wigs come in different materials, from synthetic to 100 percent human hair. Although both synthetic hair and human hair pieces offers beautiful hairstyle, they are very different, from styling to price.

Human hair acts just like normal human hair would, feels more natural, which means its hairstyle will fall in the rain and humidity. Synthetic hair is pre-set, and will hold up to the weather. Synthetic hair can blend in with your natural hair, but human hair will look more natural, reflecting light just like your normal hair.

You can change the style of human hair , especially hair for women, human hair ponytail hair can be used with heat-styling tools, such as blow dryers and curling irons, but that's generally not recommended for synthetic hair. Synthetic hair will usually melt when exposed to heat, but some blends are safe for heat styling. Be sure to check that you are getting one that works with heat styling if that's a priority for you.

Human hair can be dyed, but most human hair for women have already been color treated and it is not recommended to color them again. Dyeing possibly leave it brittle and damaged. Synthetic ponytail hair cannot be colored, as the chemicals would cost irreparable damage. If you will want to change the color of your hair, buy synthetic hair in different shades.

Human hair will last approximately a year with proper hair care, but synthetic hair only lasts two or three months. If you are looking for hair for women to wear every day for a long period of time, human hair should be a better option. If you are looking for a hair for a one-night affair or even for just a few weeks, synthetic hair is probably the way to go.

Prices for hair vary depending on the length, style and texture of the hair. The longer of hair, the more it will cost, if a custom-made, human hair wig can cost several thousand dollars.

Having extensions weaved into your hair by a professional can cost less than a wig, but more than do-it-yourself extensions, of course. Installing hair extensions is a time-intensive procedure, and will take three to five hours. You must purchase the hair and pay to have it put in. If you're looking for a salon to professionally tie in your extensions, be prepared to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars on the initial weave and updates.

No matter what type of hair you choose, human hair is generally more expensive than synthetic hair. Also there are cheaper human hair pieces on the market, but most have been color-processed and the cuticle has been stripped. You get what you pay for with human and synthetic hair.
